Jott

     If you're on the road, and find you want to send someone an email, you have two choices: wait until you're at your computer, or text them.

     Now there's a third - it's called Jott.

     Go to http://www.jott.com, and sign up for the free service to try it out.  By "jotting" someone, their technology translates your phone call into an email to that individual, but the individual's email must be listed in your cell phone's contact list.  Jott's voice recognition software does a decent job of translating common words, but sometimes has difficulty with uncommon proper names.

     You can even Jott yourself.  It a great way to send yourself reminder messages when a pen and paper aren't handy.
