Go tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere!

     I believe in keeping the Marketing Matter of the last week of Advent a simple one.  No doubt you're still making preparations - both externally and internally - for the coming of our Savior. 

     We need to market our schools.  We need to tell people our schools are here, in our communities, preparing our children for the world in which they live.  If we don't, then it won't get done, no one will know your school exists, and your school will disappear.

     Remember that first Christmas?  Even Jesus had his own marketing plan.  The Angel of the Lord appeared to shepherds in the nearby fields, and told them "Fear not...for I bring you tidings of great joy."  Then the shepherds came, and found it to be as it was told to them.  When the went back to their flocks, praising God, I'll bet there were others who were wondering what the commotion was all about...and they made their own visit.

     What if there was no Angel?  What if the shepherds had not come to the manger?  What if it was just another silent night where a baby was born homeless?  God wouldn't let that happen - and we can't let that happen to the place where miracles occur every day in our children.
