SchoolAdvancement(SM): Helping Schools Advance Toward Their Vision Through Growth

Make Your School Market Itself

Here's an idea from St. Clement Regional Catholic School in Saratoga Springs, New York.  The school does its own talking.

When parents drive up, they're encouraged to tune their car radios to a particular frequency to hear about the school.  It's the same idea of "The Talking House," a concept used by realtors to tell prospective buyers about the house that they're sitting in front of.  If we can use this technology to find out about a house, why not use it to have prospective parents find out more about our schools?

If you'd like more information, click http://www.actradio.com/schools/schools.htm.  There are Web sites out there that will instruct you how to build your own low-power AM transmitter, but if you're not good with a soldering iron, you might want to check out the above link.  It's a great way to continue to keep marketing your school over the summer when there may not be many staff members around as there are during the school year.

It's  better to light one candle...

Please consider right-clicking the peace candle and pasting it to your Web site with a message requesting others to do the same.  Remember to take a minute to pray for peace every Friday night at 9 PM. Let's all pass it on!
